Who We Are

Welcome to Poe & Company Bookstore where we encourage reading with a book in hand. We are an independent, family-owned bookstore located in downtown Crabapple in Milton, GA. We are so excited to serve the Milton, GA Community and surrounding areas including Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek,  Woodstock and beyond! We invite you to our bookstore and community gathering space, where you can escape into a great book. We look forward to hosting many events including children’s story time, book clubs, bible studies, author book reading and signing events and so much more! The name Poe & Company comes from a fond memory I have from childhood. My dad loved to tell a good story and he loved to read them as well! I remember a scary rendering of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart”, that is surprisingly a pleasant memory of time spent together as a family reading.  My dad was a fan of dark mysteries, and I loved his affinity for Poe and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes.

Our Family is originally from Michigan but has lived in the Atlanta area for the last seven years and loves this community! It is so nice to see the sun all year! Please come in and say “Hello” and tell us your favorite reads. We want to make sure we have the books you like.
